The course provides an overview of ethical decision making for career professionals. We define ethics in the career context, explore why ethics are important, and consider ethical career decision making in the bigger world in which we practice as professionals.
To assist you, an ethical decision-making framework will be introduced and you will have an opportunity to examine three cases and choose a course of action for each.
The course is divided into three topics, with lessons in each topic. These three topics are:
- Ethical Decision Making Defined (4 lessons)
- Yours, Mine and Ours: Negotiating Challenges in Working with Others Who Operate Under Different Ethical Codes – (1 lesson)
- Ethics at Work: Making the Best Decision at Work When the Boss Feels Differently (1 lesson)
